About Position


As an APIM Architect, you will lead the design and implementation of API management solutions using Azure's API Management service. Your role involves creating API strategies, designing secure and scalable API architectures, ensuring efficient integration with other systems, and managing the API lifecycle. You'll ensure APIs are secure, performant, and aligned with business goals, facilitating seamless data exchange and supporting the organization's digital transformation efforts.

What You'll Do


  • Design robust API architecure framework following best practices and standards
  • Design and review new APIs, Enhance existing APIs in line with industry standards
  • Design and build configurable API frameworks for reusability and efficiency
  • Collaborate with product managers to define efficient APIs for effective customer experience
  • Conduct reviews, coach and mentor API engineers
  • Ensure APIs compliance to industry standards
  • Process ownership of updating, versioning and publishing APIs

Expertise You'll Bring


  • Collaborate with various stakeholders, data analysts to design and implement robust and scalable data platform roadmap, solution and strategies leading to efficient decision support system
  • Expert on Azure API Management, Logic Apps, event hub, service bus, Azure Data Factory, Azure Storage and Spark, Grafana, Kafka
  • One project end to end implementation and delivery, Designing the solution, Lifecycles of APIs during onboarding in APIM, Caching mechanisms on APIM, Versioning of APIs in API Management, Blue-green and canary deployment
