Senior Mainframe Developer - CREQ190280 Description Combine interface design concepts with digital design and establish milestones to encourage cooperation and teamwork.Develop overall concepts for improving the user experience within a business webpage or product ensuring all interactions are intuitive and convenient for customers.Collaborate with backend web developers and programmers to improve usability.Conduct thorough testing of user interfaces in multiple platforms to ensure all designs render correctly and systems function knowledge and experience of COBOL JCL CICS DB2 Stored procedures MQ and other mainframe technologiesExcellent problem solving and troubleshootingExperience with mainframe software development tools and platforms z OS z VM zLinux IBM System zAbility to define manage and administer IBM MQ Queues including local queues remote queues queue managers channels etc.,Ability to install and upgrade MQ software including patch installation and configurationPerformance tuning of MQ queuesAbility to define MQ cluster load balancers for high availability and scalabilityAbility to define and manage security and data encryption controls for MQ queuesAbility to install and manage certificatesAbility to collaborate with application development teams to come up with the MQ architecture and design to support scalable and available application developmentExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAgile Experience and experience using tools like JIRA Confluence etcShould have strong good grip on non-functional areas like performance security etc Primary Location Bangalore, Karnataka, India Job Type Experienced Primary Skills COBOL, DB2 Years of Experience 8 Qualification
