OTHER EXPERIENCE:  Respondent recruitment and data collection leveraging proprietary multi-panels mode, digital & social media channels

EDUCATION:  Graduates & Above (MBA in marketing or certifications like PMP are a plus)

LOCATION:  Bangalore Preferred (blended model)

About fieldwork & custom recruitment team

Fieldwork & CR team plays a pivotal role in the success of project delivery, improving panellists experience and ensuring customer satisfaction. This team is solely responsible for collecting data across global markets as per the project scope by leveraging internal panel, group panel resources and implementing other custom recruitment field strategies (like, Digital & social media-based recruitment, dot mailer & external campaigns, text messaging, list purchase, direct mailers etc.) and at times through external vendor support.

Job purpose

The Director of Fieldwork & Custom Recruitment is a critical operational leadership role with the primarily responsibility of leading and managing m360’s Fieldwork & Custom Recruitment team. The department leader will be reporting to VP-Ops and will be solely responsible for driving various improvement initiatives within the team to achieve the set goals & objectives and to maintain continuous performance efficiency.

Essential duties and broad responsibilities

  • Oversee global PMR fieldwork (data collection) planning, execution and provide periodic guidance to team ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, maximum utilization of group resources and fieldwork best practices.
  • Develop & drive strategic initiatives to reduce external partner dependency ensuring maximum utilization of internal & group resources, including effective custom recruitment solutions.
  • Provide leadership, guidance & mentorship to the team fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration and accountability.
  • Develop & implement strategic plans within fieldwork & CR team for achieving key performance & financial goals.
  • Will be responsible for resourcing, workload, and performance management of the fieldwork & CR team.
  • Develop training program for new joiners and for upskill of existing team members. Perform continuous mentoring of team members keeping them aligned with goals & objectives of the team.
  • Will handle internal & external escalations related to challenges or issues during fieldwork or data collection and addressing those issues or concerns promptly to the satisfaction of the stakeholders.
  • Establish and monitor key metrics of the team, preparing & reviewing performance reports and discussing it with individual team members periodically.
  • Create performance improvement plan for underperforming team members. Keep track of their improvement and improvise the plan as & when needed based on goal vs achievement.
  • Stay updated about internal & group panel strengths & weaknesses, fieldwork guidelines of respective panels, sampling best practices, compliance & legal requirements across geographies related to healthcare primary research data collection & project management.
  • Working with technology or other cross-functional support teams for process improvement, implementing new processes, task automation and/or implementation new platforms or fieldwork solutions

PRE-REQUISITES FOR THE ROLE:

  • Excellent communication and articulation skills. Must be strong in written communication.
  • Strong experience in healthcare fieldwork (data collection) execution & management.
  • Must have strong awareness of multi-panel-based fieldwork operations as well as new-age custom recruitment solutions.
  • Must have experience in managing large project management or fieldwork team with the ability to handle stressful situations.
  • Should be comfortable in handling internal & external escalations ensuring timely & complete resolution.
  • Ability to keep team members motivated and inspired in a dynamic, target oriented environment.
  • Should possess strong coaching and people-development skills along with the ability to provide effective & constructive feedback.
  • Proficient in using MS office and knowhow of executive reporting.
  • Should possess excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with global teams.
  • Comfortable and willing to work in afternoon/night shift (GMT/ET)

Outcomes:

  • Achieving monthly/quarterly team financial goals (Revenue & GP)
  • Achieving internal & cross-divisional quarterly custom recruitment based completes target.
  • Strict adherence to internal & cross-divisional sampling guidelines.
  • Minimal vendor usage in proprietary panel markets (US/CAN) and meeting the set quarterly goals.
  • Team maintains an average of 72 Net Promoter Score and >6.3 fieldwork CSS.
  • Team is meeting or exceeding project fieldwork deadlines.
  • Create a spirited and engaging team environment.
  • Support panel growth.
