We're on the lookout for a talented 2D Storyboard & Concept Artist to bring ideas to life through powerful visuals and imaginative storytelling.

Role Overview:

As a 2D Storyboard & Concept Artist at Pepi Studios, you will be responsible for translating scripts and concepts into visually engaging storyboards, moodboards & design frames. You'll work closely with directors, animators and the creative team to set the foundation for high-quality animations and films.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create storyboards, animatics, and visual scripts that capture narrative flow and camera dynamics.
  • Develop concept art, character sketches, environment designs, and visual themes.
  • Collaborate with creative directors and production teams to align visual style with project vision.
  • Adapt storyboards and concepts to different mediums (2D animation, 3D, motion graphics).
  • Ensure consistency of style, storytelling, and visual tone throughout the project.

Required Skills & Expertise:

  • Proficiency in
    Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Animate, and After Effects
    .
  • Strong drawing and illustration skills with an eye for composition, staging, and storytelling.
  • Experience in creating animatics and visual storytelling for animation or production.
  • Ability to adapt to different art styles based on project requirements.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Good to Have:

  • Knowledge of 3D workflows and collaboration with 3D teams.
  • Experience in character design and environment development.
  • Passion for films, animation, and storytelling.
