development process.

3. Meet the development time lines while thoroughly adhering the development processes.

4. Understand applicable national / international standards and build the compliances in to

the design. Perform reviews of the designs made by others in the team and suggest

appropriate changes / improvements.

5. Be an integral part of product architecting efforts and identify failure modes upfront so as

to build required security and safety in the design.

6. Closely monitor the development progresses made by the team and provide for the

required technical guidance and coaching.

7. Lead project planning efforts and provide appropriate inputs on the design & prototyping.

8. Carry out hardware board bring up and unit testing at appropriate stages of development

life cycle.

9. Coordinate with external test & certification laboratories for functional and compliance

verification as well as certification.


Essential :

1. BE / B. Tech (Electronics or Instrumentation) M. Tech will be preferred.

2. Should have atleast 10 to 12 years of hands on experience on 8/16/32 bit Microprocessor

based digital and analog hardware.

3. Thorough understanding of PWB design tools like xpedition suit from Mentor Graphics.

4. Hands on simulation experience with the tools like HyperLynx.

5. Experience of working on laboratory equipment's like DSO, MSO, Logic Analyzer,

Spectrum Analyzer etc.

6. Knowledge of international standards like IEC 60529, IEC 60068, IEC 61000, CISPR 11,

CISPR 16 etc.

7. Experience in board level designs incorporating programmable devices like CPLDs &

FPGAs from Xilinx, Altera etc.

8. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

9. Excellent in documentation and communication skills.

10. Managed a team minimum 4-5 team members including their performance review and

appraisals.


Desirable :

1. Should have experience in EMI/EMC design & testing at products and system level.

2. Additional knowledge and exposure of power electronics, working on High voltage and

high current sources.

3. Expertise in test environments like National Instruments Labview.

4. Programming & scripting languages like "C", "C++" etc.

5. Knowledge and experience of ISO 9001 systems & procedures will be preferred.
