Job Description: Senior Financial Analyst (SAP S/4 HANA)Position: Senior Financial Analyst / Finance ManagerLocation: India (Remote, Team based in Italy)Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time (40 hours per week)About the RoleWe are seeking an accomplished Senior Financial Analyst with 15–20 years’ experience in finance, accounting, and SAP-enabled transformation to join our European operations, whilst being based out of India. The successful candidate will be a trusted finance leader with deep SAP S/4 HANA expertise (FICO, Product Costing, CO-PA) and proven experience across order-to-cash (O2 C), procure-to-pay (P2 P), plan-to-product (P2 P), and request-to-service (R2 S) cycles.With a strong finance and business leadership background, the candidate will partner with cross-functional teams, drive financial insights, and ensure best-in-class process excellence to support operational and strategic growth.Key ResponsibilitiesLead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business objectives.Serve as SAP S/4 HANA FICO Subject Matter Expert, driving adoption, optimization, and continuous improvement of financial processes.Manage end-to-end business cycles:• Order-to-Cash (O2 C): Streamline billing, collections, and revenue recognition.• Procure-to-Pay (P2 P): Oversee purchasing, vendor management, and payment cycles.• Plan-to-Product: Support costing, product lifecycle, and profitability analysis. • Request-to-Service (R2 S): Align service delivery with financial and operational KPIs.Provide business insights through Hyperion, SAP reporting, and advanced financial analytics to support executive decision-making.Partner with leadership to evaluate new projects, investments, and product cost structures.Support regulatory compliance, internal controls, and audit readiness in line with IFRS/GAAP standards.Build and mentor finance teams to strengthen organizational capability.Act as a business advisor to senior management, aligning financial planning with strategic growth.Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline; MBA preferred.15–20 years’ experience in Finance/Accounting with senior-level or managerial roles.Certified SAP Application Associate – SAP S/4 HANA Financial Accounting (or equivalent).Strong expertise in SAP FICO, Product Costing, CO-PA, and SAP Business Processes.Demonstrated leadership in budgeting, costing, and financial analysis.Proficiency with Hyperion Financial Reporting and other advanced analytics tools.Proven track record in process improvement, audits, and compliance management.Strong communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.Core CapabilitiesStrategic Finance Leadership – proven ability to align financial planning with business strategy.Process Expertise – deep knowledge of O2 C, P2 P, plan-to-product, and R2 S cycles.Digital Transformation – hands-on SAP S/4 HANA experience and ERP optimization.Analytical Excellence – strong ability to translate data into actionable insights.Leadership & Collaboration – ability to guide teams, mentor talent, and engage with executives.What We OfferCompetitive salary and benefits package aligned with local standards.Full-time, permanent position (40 hours per week).Remote based working capabilitiesOpportunity to drive financial transformation projects across a global business.Career development and training in advanced SAP and financial leadership
