Job Description: Supply Chain Specialist

Location: Mumbai

Reports To: Head -Supply Chain

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Professional to manage and optimize our end- to-end supply chain operations in the EdTech domain. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement, logistics, inventory management, and vendor coordination, ensuring timely delivery of educational products and services to schools, institutions, and learners.

Key Responsibilities

Supply Chain Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Forecast demand and plan inventory for physical and digital learning products.

Procurement & Vendor Management

  • Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors for cost-effective sourcing.
  • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure quality and timely delivery.

Logistics & Distribution

  • Oversee transportation, warehousing, and last-mile delivery for educational kits, devices, and printed materials.
  • Optimize logistics costs while ensuring on-time delivery to customers across regions.

Inventory & Order Management

  • Monitor stock levels and implement inventory control systems.
  • Coordinate with sales and operations teams to ensure order fulfillment.

Process Optimization & Compliance

  • Implement best practices for supply chain efficiency and cost reduction.
  • Ensure compliance with legal, safety, and quality standards.

Technology & Data Analytics

  • Analyze data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 6+ years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in EdTech, IT hardware, FMCD
  • Strong knowledge of procurement, logistics, and inventory management.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems, MS Excel, and data analytics tools.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Attributes

  • Experience in digital product distribution and hardware logistics.
  • Familiarity with EdTech ecosystem and academic cycles.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset.
