Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented ServiceNow IT Operations Management (ITOM) Developer to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing ServiceNow ITOM solutions to enhance our IT infrastructure management. This role requires collaboration with various stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into effective ITOM solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and configure ServiceNow ITOM modules including Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, Cloud Management, and Orchestration.
Develop custom workflows, scripts, and automation to improve IT operations.
Integrate ITOM with other ServiceNow modules (e.g., IT Service Management, Configuration Management Database).
Implement and manage the Discovery process to ensure accurate and up-to-date IT asset information.
Configure Service Mapping to create accurate service models and maps.
Develop strategies to maintain the integrity and accuracy of CMDB data.
Configure Event Management to monitor IT infrastructure and services.
Develop and implement event rules, alerts, and dashboards.
Integrate Event Management with other monitoring tools to enhance event correlation and management.
Cloud Management:
Implement and manage Cloud Management to monitor and optimize cloud resources.
Configure cloud provisioning and governance processes.
Develop automation scripts to streamline cloud operations.
Design and implement orchestration workflows to automate IT processes.
Develop scripts and integrations to facilitate end-to-end automation.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within IT operations.
Data Management and Reporting:
Ensure the integrity and consistency of data within the ServiceNow platform.
Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to provide insights into IT operations.
Conduct data analysis to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
Work closely with IT, security, operations, and business units to gather requirements and provide ITOM solutions.
Conduct training sessions and provide support to users on ITOM processes and tools.
Develop documentation for configurations, processes, and procedures.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Proven experience as a ServiceNow ITOM Developer or similar role.
In-depth knowledge of ServiceNow ITOM capabilities and best practices.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in ServiceNow platform, including scripting (JavaScript), workflows, and integrations.
Experience with ServiceNow ITOM modules (Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, Cloud Management, Orchestration).
Familiarity with IT infrastructure, cloud services, and monitoring tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Certifications (preferred):
ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – IT Operations Management.
ITIL Foundation certification.
