Job Overview: As the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at EstateX, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire technological framework of the company. You will work closely with the CEO and other executive team members to develop and execute the company’s technology strategy, ensure the security and scalability of our platforms, develop our own blockchain and lead our talented team of developers and engineers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in blockchain technology, particularly in the areas of DeFi, smart contracts, and tokenization, as well as a passion for real estate and fintech.


Key Responsibilities:


Technology Strategy: Develop and implement the overall technology strategy in alignment with the company's business goals. Lead the exploration of new technologies and innovations in blockchain, DeFi, and real estate tech.


Product Development: Oversee the design, architecture, and development of EstateX’s blockchain-based platforms and applications. Ensure the integration of smart contracts, tokenomics, and other DeFi components.


Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing technical team. Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.


Security and Compliance: Ensure the security, privacy, and compliance of all technological solutions. Develop protocols to protect user data and prevent breaches.


Partnerships and Integration: Work closely with external partners, including blockchain platforms, exchanges, and other technology providers, to integrate third-party solutions and maintain robust, scalable platforms.


Technical Roadmap: Define and manage the technical roadmap, prioritizing initiatives that align with EstateX's business objectives and growth plans.


Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary technical advisor to the executive team and board of directors. Communicate technical concepts and strategies to non-technical stakeholders effectively.


Budget Management: Oversee the technology budget, ensuring that resources are allocated efficiently and projects are completed within budget.


Required Skills and Experience:


Blockchain Expertise: Deep understanding of blockchain technology, including smart contracts, tokenomics, and decentralized finance (DeFi). Experience with Ethereum, Solana, Base, or similar platforms is essential.


Technical Leadership: Proven experience in a senior technical leadership role, ideally as a CTO or VP of Engineering, with a track record of leading successful technology projects in fintech, proptech, or a related industry.


Development Experience: Hands-on experience with full-stack development, particularly in languages like Solidity, Rust, Python, and JavaScript. Familiarity with Web3.js, Node.js, and cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.


Security and Compliance: Strong knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and regulatory requirements related to blockchain and fintech.


Strategic Vision: Ability to think strategically about technology and how it can be leveraged to achieve business goals. Experience in driving innovation and leading digital transformation initiatives.


Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.


Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced certifications in blockchain or cloud technologies are a plus.


Preferred Qualifications:


Experience in real estate technology or fintech.

Previous experience in a startup environment.

Contributions to open-source blockchain projects.

Knowledge of agile development methodologies.
