About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Business Analyst to join our investment team. The role will focus on supporting investment decisions and monitoring investments made into startups and privately held US companies. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in investment research, financial modeling, and due diligence within the VC/PE/IB ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and industry deep-dives on startups and private companies.
  • Build and maintain financial models to support investment decisions.
  • Prepare investment memos, pitch decks, and reports for internal committees.
  • Track portfolio company performance , KPIs, and prepare monitoring dashboards.
  • Assist with due diligence (financial, operational, and market).
  • Work closely with the investment team in the US, aligning with their time zone.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field (MBA / CFA preferred but not mandatory).
  • 2–5 years of experience in venture capital, private equity, investment banking, or management consulting .
  • Strong expertise in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and investment analysis .
  • Excellent research, writing, and presentation skills .
  • Ability to work independently and manage tasks in a remote setting.
  • Willingness to work in US time zone (EST/PST overlap) .
