*Job Description : *

  • SAP ABAP Development & Code Security

*Responsibilities: *

  • Design, develop, and maintain secure SAP ABAP objects (Reports, SmartForms, BAPIs, BADIs, User Exits, Enhancements).
  • Apply secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities like code injection, SQL injection, RFC misuse, and insecure authorization checks.
  • Perform peer code reviews and enforce security coding guidelines.

*Skills Required: *

  • SAP ABAP development (8+ years)
  • Secure coding practices for ABAP
  • SAP code review techniques & best practices
  • SAP authorization concepts (PFCG roles, object-level controls)
  • Application Security & Risk Management

*Responsibilities: *

  • Conduct ABAP code security assessments using tools like SAP CVA, Virtual Forge/Onapsis, SCI/SLIN.
  • Collaborate with SAP Security & Basis teams for risk identification & remediation.
  • Support threat modeling, risk analysis, and patch/security note management.

*Skills Required: *

  • Static code analysis tools (SAP CVA, Virtual Forge/Onapsis)
  • Threat modeling & vulnerability management
  • SAP OSS Security Notes, patch management processes
  • Knowledge of OWASP Top 10 & SANS Top 25 in SAP context
  • Collaboration & Governance

*Responsibilities: *

  • Provide guidance on authorization design & enforcement in custom code.
  • Ensure compliance with SOX, GDPR, and internal security policies.
  • Contribute to secure coding standards & secure SDLC practices for SAP projects.

*Skills Required: *

  • SAP security policies & governance frameworks
  • Regulatory compliance knowledge (SOX, GDPR)
  • Secure SDLC process understanding
  • Cross-functional collaboration with IT security & compliance teams

*Required Skills & Qualifications *

  • 8+ years SAP ABAP development experience
  • SAP application security concepts (roles/authorizations, RFC security, transport-level controls)
  • Static analysis tools: SAP CVA, Virtual Forge/Onapsis, SCI/SLIN
  • Familiarity with OWASP Top 10, SANS Top 25 security risks
  • Experience with ECC, S/4HANA, SAP IS modules

*Preferred Qualifications *

  • SAP Fiori/UI5 security & backend integration knowledge
  • Experience with SAP GRC, Security Audit Logs, firefighter access models
  • Certifications: SAP Certified Development Associate, SAP Security, CISSP

*Additional Information *

  • Candidate must be ready for Face-to-Face Interview at IBM location (as required).
  • Day 1 Onsite Reporting required post DOJ (Date of Joining).
