Rotating Equipment Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Rotary Equipment Design Engineer to join our team in the FEED (Front-End Engineering Design) phase of oil and gas projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing rotary equipment, including pumps, compressors, turbines, and motors, while ensuring they meet project specifications, safety standards, and performance criteria during the initial stages of project development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, selection, and specification of rotary equipment (e.g., pumps, compressors, turbines) during the FEED phase of oil and gas projects.
- Perform detailed design calculations and simulations to ensure equipment meets industry standards and client requirements (e.g., API 610, API 617, ASME).
- Develop and review technical specifications, equipment datasheets, and design documentation for procurement and fabrication during the FEED phase.
- Collaborate with project management, other engineering disciplines (e.g., process, civil, electrical), and vendors to define equipment performance, technical requirements, and integration into the overall project.
- Conduct performance analysis and provide recommendations for optimizing equipment selection and design, considering reliability, safety, and cost-effectiveness.
- Ensure design solutions meet regulatory, environmental, and safety requirements as per industry standards.
- Assist in the preparation of FEED deliverables, including project schedules, budgets, and equipment design reviews.
- Provide technical input during design reviews, risk assessments, and technical workshops.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements in rotary equipment design.
