About The Opportunity
A role in the Banking Technology sector supporting core banking transformation and implementation projects for large financial institutions across India. This opportunity focuses on delivering production-grade Temenos T24 (Transact) configuration, integrations, and post-go-live support at client sites—ideal for engineers who perform best in hands-on, on-site delivery environments.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Configure and customise Temenos T24 (Transact) modules—accounts, loans, payments—by implementing parameter changes, business functions, and templates to meet client requirements.
  • Develop and maintain integrations between T24 and peripheral systems using Message Manager, Integration Framework/ESB, and standard messaging formats (SWIFT/ISO20022 where applicable).
  • Perform jBase/jBC development and troubleshooting: data model changes, queue handling, and batch job maintenance to ensure system stability and performance.
  • Deliver unit testing, SIT/UAT support, defect triage, and coordinate fixes through to production releases while maintaining clear deployment documentation.
  • Provide on-site production support and incident resolution, including root-cause analysis, patching, and rollback planning for live banking environments.
  • Collaborate with functional analysts, QA, and infrastructure teams to define technical designs, runbooks, and operational playbooks for smooth handovers.

Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have

  • 4+ years hands-on experience with Temenos T24 / Transact (configuration, parameterisation, and production support).
  • Strong jBase / jBC skills and familiarity with T24 data structures and batch processes.
  • Practical experience integrating T24 with external systems (Message Manager, Integration Framework, ESB).
  • Good SQL skills and basic Unix/Linux command-line experience for troubleshooting and scripts.
  • Proven on-site client delivery experience and willingness to work from client locations across India (ON-SITE).

Preferred

  • Exposure to payments (SWIFT/ISO20022), retail or corporate banking products and business workflows.
  • Familiarity with T24 Studio, TAFJ/T24 tools, automated testing frameworks, or release automation.
  • Strong communication skills, stakeholder management, and experience working in Agile delivery teams.
