Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role for a Principal Systems Architect, based in India, with the flexibility to work from home on certain days. The Principal Systems Architect will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, secure, and efficient system architectures. Key responsibilities include assessing project requirements, providing technical leadership, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving innovation in system design. The individual will also oversee system integration, troubleshoot technical challenges, and ensure alignment with business goals. Qualifications We need DevOps / Platform Architect–heavy, not runtime/kernel-level architect–heavy. Need expertise in the below. Linux filesystem internals (OverlayFS, VirtioFS, EROFS, FUSE) Rust systems programming Building container runtimes / low-level infra OCI image specs & content-addressable storage Container runtime internals (CRI, OCI, containerd) Strong expertise in systems architecture, including designing scalable and secure solutions Proficiency in DevOps practices, automation, CI/CD pipelines, and change management Extensive knowledge of data management, data operations, and DataOps methodologies Experience with data quality assurance and analytics for actionable business insights Exceptional leadership, problem-solving, and collaboration skills Ability to work effectively in hybrid work environments Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field Relevant certifications in system architecture, cloud platforms, or DataOps are a plus
