VMC Operator

Role: VMC Operator (Plastic Manufacturing)

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Operate and set up Vertical Machining Center (VMC) machines for mold, die, and plastic component manufacturing.
• Interpret engineering drawings, CAD/CAM data, and process sheets for machining operations.
• Select and install appropriate tools, cutters, and fixtures.
• Monitor machine operations, maintain accuracy, and ensure quality standards.
• Perform basic programming/editing of CNC codes if required.
• Conduct regular machine maintenance and ensure proper housekeeping.
• Coordinate with production and toolroom teams for smooth workflow.
• Inspect finished components using measuring instruments (Vernier, Micrometer, CMM, etc.).

Qualification:

• ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / Tool & Die Making.
• CNC / VMC operating certification (preferred).

Experience:

• 2–5 years of experience as a VMC Operator, preferably in plastic mold/toolroom or plastic product manufacturing industry.
• Knowledge of mold components, tool steel machining, and CNC programming will be an added advantage.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20, ₹35,000.00 per month
