Job Title: Business Intelligence Lead
Job Summary:
As the Business Intelligence Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and optimization of business intelligence solutions within the organization. You will work closely with stakeholders from various departments to understand their analytical needs and translate them into actionable insights. Your role will involve managing a team of analysts, ensuring data accuracy, driving data-driven decision-making processes, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the development and execution of the organization's business intelligence strategy.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define key performance indicators (KPIs) for various business processes.
Manage a team of business analysts, data engineers, and data scientists to deliver high-quality analytics solutions.
Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of data models, dashboards, and reports to provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
Ensure data integrity and accuracy by implementing data governance policies and procedures.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in business intelligence and analytics to continuously improve processes and methodologies.
Provide guidance and training to team members to enhance their technical skills and domain knowledge.
Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment that encourages knowledge sharing and cross-functional collaboration.
Partner with IT teams to evaluate and implement new technologies and tools to enhance the organization's analytics capabilities.
Present findings and recommendations to senior management and key stakeholders to support strategic decision-making.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field.
Proven experience (10+ years) in a business intelligence or analytics role, with a track record of successfully leading complex projects.
Strong proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView.
Proficiency in SQL and experience with database technologies (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL).
Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello) is a plus.
Certifications such as Certified Business Intelligence Professional (CBIP) or Project Management Professional (PMP) are desirable.
