Pharmaceutical Sales Representative
(2 Years Experience)
Position Title: Medical Representative
Location: Bangalore
Reports To: Regional Sales Manager / Sales Supervisor
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales and Promotion:- Promote and sell the company's pharmaceutical products to healthcare professionals.- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets.- Conduct regular visits to doctors, hospitals, clinics, and pharmacies to present product information and benefits.
2. Product Knowledge:- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the company's products, their uses, benefits, and competitive advantages.- Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and competitive activities.
3. Relationship Management:- Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals, key opinion leaders, and decision-makers.- Address customer queries and concerns promptly and professionally.
4. Market Analysis:- Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities and threats.- Provide feedback and suggestions to the marketing and product development teams.
5. Reporting and Documentation:- Prepare and submit timely reports on sales activities, market conditions, and customer feedback.- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities in the CRM system.
6. Training and Development:- Attend training sessions, workshops, and conferences to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.- Provide training and support to new team members as needed.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or a related field.- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Medical Representative or in a similar sales role within the pharmaceutical industry.- Skills:- Strong sales and negotiation skills.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Ability to build and maintain professional relationships.- In-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical products and the healthcare industry.- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.- Other Requirements:- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory.- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if necessary.
Additional Information:
- Work Environment: This role requires fieldwork, with regular visits to healthcare facilities and meetings with healthcare professionals.
