We are seeking an Editorial Assistant to support the production of educational animated videos and webpage content. The successful applicant will assist the project managers in the various tasks involved in getting the content through to publication. This position is in the Video department, but will be required to work closely with the IT department to achieve content integration.

Responsibilities

- Perform quality checks of transcripts, webtexts, quizzes, and video projects- Assist with light editing and proofing of transcripts, web pages, and video projects- Contribute to management of various files associated with lesson production- Coordinate with the IT department to integrate lesson files online- Communicate with project managers about timely completion of tasks and projects

Requirements

- Must demonstrate high level US-English language proficiency with strong oral and written communication skills- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Power point, as well as Google Drive, Sheets, and Docs- Exceptional attention to detail, the ability to prioritize among several tasks, and strong follow-up skills- Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines- Strong interpersonal skills and initiative- BS/BA degree in Science or related field- Experience with medical or scientific publications a plus
