About the Role :

- As the Senior Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in driving the technical vision and strategy for our organization and building high-quality SaaS products that simplify complex workflows for our users.

- You will lead a multi-disciplinary engineering organization, from concept to production across a broad array of technologies and volumes.

- You will foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

- You will ensure that the best engineering practices are followed and that our software is designed to be responsive, reliable and maintainable.

- You will be a key influencer in our product vision, working with our great designers and product team to build software that thousands of users use daily.

Responsibilities :

- Hire, Manage, upskill, and lead engineering teams to translate complex functional and technical requirements into detailed architecture and designs.

- Own the software development process end-to-end, including: working with engineers and product managers to develop requirements; designing, architecting, planning, implementing, and testing new systems and features; deploying, and operating the production.

- This is a hands-on position where you will be doing everything from designing and building extremely stable components and cutting-edge features for the savviest customers in the business to help them get the best results.

- This includes diving into the code as and when needed.

- Establish engineering best practices and patterns for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and live site operations.

- Contribute to product strategy, and partner with product, design and program management teams to timely deliver systems and features with top-notch quality.

- Scale, improve, and operate backend distributed systems to ensure reliability, scalability, performance, cost efficiency, security, and privacy.

- Drive digital/AI transformations to scale both our teams and customers.

- Work closely with HR and senior leadership including CEO/VPs to effectively plan and manage engineering resources and budget plan for India Dev Center.

- Generate opportunities to up-level the talent and scale teams.

Requirements :

- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

- 10+ years of experience in leading and managing engineering teams in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

- 10+ years of experience in building software for scalable, large-scale, distributed systems.

- Minimum of 5 years of professional web development experience working with VueJs framework.

- Strong technical background with a deep understanding of software development processes and technologies (Ruby, JavaScript, VueJS, ReactJS, AngularJS, NodeJS technologies preferred).

- Advanced writing and spoken English proficiency and interpersonal skills.

- Experience working for a Series A, B, or C company in the logistics or supply chain industry.

- Ability to lead both engineering and non-engineering talent.

Must Have :


- Vue.js, Javascript, ruby ,react.js, angular, node.js.
