Warehouse & Logistics Manager

Founded in 1887, with 2023 revenue of $3.5 billion, our mission to Connect What Matters is brought to life by more than 7,000 global team members who collaborate with customers across more than 30 market segments in over 140 countries to develop highly specified solutions that enable customers to bring world-changing innovations to their end markets.Primary responsibilities are:Run the warehouse and logistics operation in safe manner (KPI : Zero LTC)Participate in EHS related activities while running smooth operation.Leading all activities related with warehouse management (including finished goods, raw materials and packaging materials, engineering Stores, Subcontracting activities and Control of external warehouses);Implementation of several activities to ensure the optimization and rationalization of the use of all resources that are allocated to receiving, shipping and warehousing process.Ensuring land transportation for all orders to the domestic and Export markets, making sure all trade operations run smoothly.Manage the RM & FG warehouse for running smooth operation of Production.Joint responsibility of P&L for the logistics budget of the India Operation.Interact with Supply Chain and Customer service, Business to ensure that the strategy and the G&O´s for the India Operation are sufficiently executed within his/her area of responsibility.Work with Mathadi unions in finalizing pay contract and workload.Identify the appropriate carrier and make the transportation reservation, considering the characteristics of each order (destination, quantity, lead time and transport specific Hygiene characteristics ).Help sourcing to performs negotiations with the various transport service providers, in order to get the best rateShould be able to work on SAP platform , SFDC and conversant with BO reports

PRIMARY DUTIES

This individual will be involved in a variety of activities including:Ordering ProcessManage and interact with the CS teamTranslate the sales orders in the logistic planning together with the production team in India operationImplement the right shipping processes in the warehouse so that customers get their ordered goods in full and on time in accordance with the promised delivery dates’ is SIFOT , Logistics and Transport related complaintsSubmission of transports bills on timely manner with monthly accruals if requiredManage the RM & FG warehouseSustainable implementation of the business processes in the logistic department and warehouse, fulfilling all requirements of the IMS systems like ISO 9000 and ISO 14001 systems as requested by customersAccurate inventory Management ensuring the minimum and maximum level of Finished goods stock, Manage the Finished goods supply, mainly within India and export, according the global policies of HB Fuller in cooperation with the Supply chain & CS .Manage stocks of Finished Goods in cooperation with the policies deployed by Supply Chain and with focus on the requirements of the local customersImport / unload imported goods in Shirwal warehouse and other external warehouses from HB Fuller other regions.Complete stock take activities and Cycle count process as per finance guidelines , Submit the report on timely manner (KPI : zero Stock variance +/-)Ensure proper conservation of all warehouse areas, suggesting improvements, identifying maintenance needs or replacement of equipment as appropriate;Ensure that all procedures and work instructions included on the Quality and Environmental Management Systems are followed;& updated periodicallyValidation and acceptance of transport invoices, orders and other costs pertaining to the warehousing / shipping activities;Manage external warehouses in order to keep stock levels under control ensuring availability of the different materials.Ensure virtual warehouses and consignment are properly monitored and controlled by running periodic reconciliation reports (SOX purposes) as well as all applicable processes are implemented and kept controlled (inventory counts, period closing);Ensure all periodic SOX tests are performed (Shipping / Receiving and Inventory Management narratives);AuditLead / Assist Internal / External Statutory Audits in compliance with HBF Legal Norms as well as local statutory codes as applicable.Other related responsibilitiesInteract with cross functional teams such as supply chain, production , EHS , PROJECTS , Maintenance , QA , CS & finance teams to ensure that the strategy and the G&O´s for the operations are executed within his/her area of responsibility for the Dukinfield Plant.Manage Key Performance Indicators for the warehouse & logistics department.Implement and maintain the right level of delivery service.Responsible for safe working environment in Warehouse
