The Product Owner works as part of the Product team to facilitate clear and open communication between Business Owners, Scrum/Development, Quality Assurance, UAT and Product Owners. This role provides a major contribution to enhancing Zelis’ overall capacity to meet the information technology needs of an ever-changing payment integrity market. This resource will also assist with operational readiness, communications, and creation of business processes as needed. Our ideal candidate will have 4+ years of industry experience.

Responsibilities:

· Prioritizing and maintaining the Product Backlog.

· Plan quarterly Work based on Prioritized Backlog.

· Translate requirements into User Stories; oversee process of technical requirements for PriZem Platform work.

· Ensure execution and delivery on planned work.

· Manage the releases for regulatory updates.

· Manage releases for delivery.

· Monthly release overviews for teams.

· Identify ways to automate and streamline process.

· Document and clarify requirements as needed for execution of User Stories for Development, QA, UAT (e.g. Flow charts, claim scenarios, examples, etc.).

· Act as subject matter expert and assist the team as needed in driving delivery (e.g. Business Analysts, UAT).

Qualifications:

· HealthCare software experience.

· Basic or advanced understanding of payment integrity, claim processing and/or revenue cycle for healthcare claims.

· Experience working in an Agile/Scrum framework, including: Creating Workflows/diagrams, User Stories, Enable Stories, Release Notes and User Guides.

· Jira, and Confluence experience.

· Knowledge of project management techniques, including managing issues, risk mitigation, planning.

· Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.

· Ability to prioritize and manage multiple concurrent projects.

· Moderate to advanced experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Jira + Confluence.

Nice to Haves:

· Understanding of medical coding and medical claims.

· Project Management experience; ability to drive output from others without direct supervisory responsibility.
