It blends AWS design, implementation, Saa S administration, on-prem oversight, and technical leadership. This role also acts as escalation for L2s and is expected to mentor junior engineers.Responsibilities:- Design, deploy, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, Lambda, Cloud Formation).- Implement and maintain disaster recovery solutions (Veeam, Commvault, AWS Snapshots).- Administer Saa S (Okta, AWS Workspaces, Slack, Google Workspace, Zoom).- Monitor observability tools (Datadog, Orion, Nagios, Whats Up Gold).- Support Active Directory, hardware lifecycle, Windows/Mac OS.- Collaborate with Dev Ops for CI/CD pipelines.- Provide escalation support, mentor L2 engineers.- Support in security incident responses (“all hands on deck”).- Balance hands-on work with governance and compliance awareness.Qualifications:- 5+ years AWS engineering/administration.- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional preferred/expected.- Proven Okta administration expertise.- Infrastructure automation (Terraform, Ansible, Cloud Formation).- Familiarity with containers (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS/EKS).- Strong networking background (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN).- Excellent troubleshooting/documentation skills.- Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT.- Cloud experience + Okta are non-negotiables.- Certifications: L2 may be flexible, L3 expected to have certifications.
