Role: Technical Project / Program Manager

Location: Bangalore

Work mode: Hybrid

Notice period: Only Immediate Joiners

We are looking for an experienced Technical Project/Program Manager to lead and deliver digital transformation/Next Generation programs.

This position assumes overall delivery responsibility for the project/program.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Work closely with technical stakeholders from GL and client side (architects, designers, tech leads, UI/UX designers, Product owners/BA etc) to ensure that the solution is optimal and aligned with the business requirements
  2. Participate in technical discussions and position technical trade-offs to client stakeholders
  3. Present/explain technical decisions to non-technical stakeholders
  4. Work closely with the project stakeholders to define project plan, KRAs and process.
  5. Communicate the project status and structure across the Project Management team and all necessary departments
  6. Ensure that project remains on target to meet deadlines
  7. Define potential problems and suggest alternatives based upon cost implications, time constraints, and customer quality standards.
  8. Manage day-to-day progress of projects including risk assessment and problem resolution.
  9. Conduct project reviews according to prescribed process/structure.
  10. Serve as subject matter expert regarding workflow, processes, capacity, timelines, etc.
  11. Participate in cross-functional teams to develop and/or adapt processes, policies, and workflows to improve efficiency, accuracy, speed, quality, etc.
  12. Ensure that teams have appropriate product and technical specifications, direction, and resources to deliver effectively
  13. Provide leadership and guidance to coach, motivate and lead team members to their optimum performance levels

Skills required

  1. Expertise in managing full project management life cycle for implementing highly complex, large-scale, strategic IT and business initiatives
  2. Deep experience in understanding the functional scope, design and technology to ensure right solution is delivered
  3. Proven ability to meaningfully engage with highly technical stakeholders
  4. Proven ability to explain highly technical topics to non-technical stakeholders.
  5. Understanding/experience with executing projects in two or more areas like Supply Chain, eCommerce, IoT/Embedded, Digital Twins, Cloud Infrastructure, Industrial Operations Management will be an added advantage
  6. Understanding of all the allied areas like DevOps, Test Strategies, Test Automation, Security standards etc
  7. Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management (from conception to completion), & planning skills
  8. Strong verbal and written communication skills
  9. Self-motivated, team player with results orientation
  10. Ability to successfully work under tight project deadlines
