Job Overview We are looking for a talented Senior Design Engineer to join our Client Place based at Manesar, Gurgaon (Haryana). This is a full-time, mid-level position requiring 4 to 6 years of work experience. The ideal candidate will have expertise in design engineering, particularly in SolidWorks, SPM Design, and Heavy Machinery Design, with a passion for developing innovative solutions in the mechanical field. Roles and Responsibilities Develop innovative designs using SolidWorks and other engineering software, ensuring compliance with industry standards. Lead the design process for special purpose machinery, focusing on heavy machinery and recycling solutions. Collaborate with the engineering team to develop and implement lean manufacturing techniques. Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for new design projects to ensure practicality and economic viability. Oversee the production process to ensure design specifications are met during manufacturing stages. Participate in design reviews, providing constructive feedback and insights to improve overall product design. Continuously improve design practices and methodologies to enhance the efficiency and quality of output. Prepare detailed engineering documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and reports. Qualifications and Skills Profound understanding of SolidWorks, SPM Design, and Heavy Machinery Design Proven knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques with an ability to apply them to improve product quality and efficiency. Strong proficiency in sheet metal design and fabrication techniques essential for complex engineering projects. Experienced in part design with a focus on accuracy and detail in creating functional products. Expertise in mechanical design, ensuring adherence to engineering principles and industry standards. Competency in recycling machine design, optimizing processes for eco-friendly engineering solutions. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to address engineering challenges with creative solutions. Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project goals and deliver high-quality results.
