As a Jr. Advocate, you will play a vital role in supporting our attorneys and contributing to the overall efficiency of the legal team. You will be responsible for drafting and preparing various legal documents, managing case files, and assisting in the smooth operation of the firm's legal processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft, review, and edit legal documents including contracts, pleadings, motions, and briefs.
  • Prepare legal correspondence and assist attorneys in the preparation of cases for trial.
  • Conduct legal research to support ongoing cases and legal issues.
  • Manage and organize case files, maintaining up-to-date and accurate records.
  • Coordinate communications between clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
  • Assist with filing documents with courts and other relevant authorities.
  • Provide administrative support, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and maintaining office supplies.
  • Maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion in all matters.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Legal Assistant or in a similar legal support role.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in drafting legal documents and matters.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in legal research, using both online and traditional resources.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with legal software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A proactive attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
