Company Overview: We are a startup in Ideation Stage, building a platform, for that we want a Senior Back End Developer (Spring Boot), with 6-7 years of experience in Back End Development, who can design and build backend of complex ecommerce marketplaces like amazon and Myntra, we are making recommendation engine for which backend developer have to integrate Machine Learning Models to the backend of my application (ML models will be built by ML Engineer), we have to integrate Order Management System (like Pulse OMS), payment gateway and logistics to the backend, and the backend developer should be able to make a platform like Instagram. Our platform will have backend in Spring Boot (Java).


Key Responsibilities:


  • Build Backend of complex ecommerce marketplace application (like amazon and Myntra) in Spring Boot .
  • Integrate machine learning models into the backend for building a recommendation engine that suggests relevant content and products to users. (we are making recommendation engine for which backend developer have to integrate Machine Learning Models to the backend of our application (ML models will be made by ML Engineers)).
  • Should be able to build backend of application like Instagram in Spring Boot .
  • Integrate and Implement order management system  using Pulse OMS and integrate payment gateways and logistics providers.
  • Develop the backend of our platform using Spring Boot. (Our Platform will have Backend in Spring Boot (Java).
  • Implement RESTful APIs  for handling user interactions, content management, and e-commerce functionalities.
  • Build RESTful APIs and work within a microservices architecture to ensure scalability and efficiency.
  • Design and implement video processing pipelines  using libraries like FFmpeg or GPUImage for Android and AVFoundation for iOS.
  • Integrate video playback functionality  using ExoPlayer for Android and AVPlayer for iOS.
  • Implement music integration  by integrating with music streaming APIs like Spotify API or Apple Music API and using audio processing libraries for synchronizing music with video clips.
  • Choose and manage databases  (MongoDB for NoSQL and PostgreSQL for SQL) for storing user data, video metadata, and e-commerce information.
  • Utilize cloud storage services  like Amazon S3 or Google Cloud Storage for storing user-generated videos and content.
  • Implement Content Delivery Network (CDN)  using services like Cloudflare or Amazon CloudFront to ensure fast delivery of video and e-commerce content.
  • Collaborate with frontend developers , data engineers, and cloud architects to ensure seamless integration and efficient data flow.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes  to maintain code quality and ensure smooth releases.


Qualifications:


  • Proficient in Java and Spring Boot framework.
  • Experience in building scalable and secure RESTful APIs.
  • Knowledge of database technologies  (MongoDB and PostgreSQL) and cloud storage solutions.
  • Familiarity with video processing libraries  like FFmpeg, GPUImage, and AVFoundation.
  • Understanding of video playback technologies  such as ExoPlayer and AVPlayer.
  • Experience in integrating with music streaming APIs  and audio processing libraries.
  • Knowledge of integrating order management systems, payment gateways, and logistics.
  • Familiarity with machine learning concepts  and experience in integrating ML models into backend systems.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Experience in working with agile development methodologies.
