The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in Java development, a deep understanding of microservices architecture, and a strong proficiency in cloud-native application design and AWS services.

Requirement:

  • Must have 8 years of Java Experience and expert level (hands-on) knowledge and understanding in JAVA/J2EE.
  • Must have Deep understanding of Microservices, API, Kafka and Microservices best practices, patterns- Spring boot Microservices is highly preferred.
  • RESTful APIs development using Spring Boot, Spring webflux, Caching, microservice based architecture, database integration.
  • Knowledge in object-oriented design, data structures, problem-solving, and complexity analysis
  • Java concepts, multithreading, and object-oriented programming.
  • Experience with NoSQL (Mongo DB) and relational databases (PostgreSQL)
  • Understanding of JVM, its limitations, weaknesses, and workarounds
  • Familiarity with build tools such as Ant, Maven, and Gradle,
  • Familiarity with continuous integration (Jenkins / Github) and deploy the application using Docker on Kubernetes
  • Proficiency in using AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, etc.
  • Understanding of cloud-native application design principles
  • Experience of UI frameworks like ReactJS / AngularJs
  • Experience with AWS SDK and developing solutions for fully automated deployment, monitoring, and operations of application services



Roles and responsibilities:

1. Code Migration:

- Migrate codebase from C# to Java, ensuring functionality and performance.

- Develop and maintain Java APIs.


2. Database Transition:

- Move backend systems to PostgreSQL.

- Design and implement database schemas and queries.


3. API Development:

- Create secure, scalable, and performant RESTful APIs.

- Ensure API reliability and efficiency.


4. System Architecture:

- Collaborate on system design and architecture.

- Align with best practices and standards.


5. Performance Optimization:

- Identify and resolve performance issues.

- Conduct code reviews and optimize existing code.


6. Testing & Quality Assurance:

- Develop and execute tests to ensure software quality.

- Work with QA teams to fix defects.


7. Documentation & Support:

- Maintain technical documentation.

- Provide production support and troubleshooting.


8. Collaboration & Mentorship:

- Work with cross-functional teams.

- Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance.
