Interface.ai provides an Intelligent Virtual Assistant (IVA) to FIs to automate calls and customer inquiries across multiple channels and engage their customers with financial insights and upsell/cross-sell. Our IVA is transforming financial institutions’ call centers from a cost to a revenue center.Our core technology is built 100% in-house with several breakthroughs in Natural Language Understanding. Our parser is built based on zero-shot learning that helps us to launch industry-specific IVA that can achieve over 90% accuracy on Day-1. We are 150+ people strong with employees spread across India and US locations. Many of them come from ML teams at Apple, Microsoft and Salesforce in the US along with enterprise architects with over 20+ years of experience building large-scale systems. Our India team consists of people from ISB, IIMs and many who have been previous part of early-stage startups. We have grown 1800% in the last one year. You Make the Cut?
Job Summary:The Technical Writer will be responsible for creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation that captures the product flows and setups for each customer environment. This role requires a deep understanding of our conversational AI products and a knack for translating complex technical concepts into clear, user-friendly documentation.
As a Technical Writer, you will be responsible for:
Proven experience (3+ years) as a Technical Content Writer, preferably in a technology-focused environment.Develop and maintain detailed documentation for all product flows and setups specific to each customer environment.Collaborate with engineering, product management, and customer success teams to gather information and ensure accuracy in documentation.Create user manuals, installation guides, API documentation, and other technical documents.Ensure all documentation is up-to-date with the latest product features and updates.Work closely with the engineering team to understand the technical aspects of our products and translate them into clear, concise documentation.Assist in the development of templates and standards for technical documentation.Conduct regular reviews and updates of documentation to ensure consistency and accuracy.Provide documentation support during customer onboarding and implementation phases.Continuously improve documentation processes and tools to enhance productivity and quality.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Technical Writing, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.Proven experience as a Technical Writer, preferably in the software or technology industry.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong attention to detail and ability to write in a clear, concise, and engaging manner.Proficiency in using documentation toolsFamiliarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and documentation platforms (e.g., Confluence).Ability to understand and explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.Experience with conversational AI or related technologies is a plus.Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Desired Skills:
Experience working in an Agile development environment.Basic knowledge of programming languages (e.g., node.js) and APIs.Ability to create visual aids such as diagrams, screenshots, and flowcharts to enhance documentation.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
