Senior Technical Superintendent | (Experience - 1.10 yrs to 4 yrs as TS Dry / Surveyor are relevant)(Based in Mumbai and Dubai)
ORGANIZATIONReporting to the Fleet Manager, you will be in-charge of managing the technical and operational performance of 4-6 merchant vessels. Your key role is to ensure safe and efficient operations of the company’s vessels, their routine and preventive maintenance, and that all international marine requirements are complied with.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage and supervise technical aspects of vessel operations, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.Conduct regular inspections and maintenance to ensure vessels' technical readiness and reliability.Collaborate with various departments to optimize vessel performance, budget management, and resource allocation.Oversee dry-docking, repairs, and maintenance schedules, ensuring cost-effective and timely completion.Develop and implement technical guidelines, policies, and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.Coordinate and manage relationships with vendors, suppliers, and external stakeholders.Provide technical support and guidance to onboard crews and shore-based personnel.
YOUR PROFILE:
You must be a qualified Marine Engineer, or equivalent diploma holder in marine/navigation.At least 2 year of experience working as a Technical Superintendent managing Bulk Carriers or Container Vessel's.Minimum 12 months of sailing experience as a Chief Engineer on Bulk Carrier or Container Vessel is a must.Experience working onshore in the marine industry or with dry docking will be advantageous.
