Role Description:

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Manual QA Tester at Kshetrapati Industries Pvt Ltd in Pune, with flexibility for some remote work. The Manual QA Tester will be responsible for test execution, creating test cases, conducting manual testing, and ensuring quality assurance. Strong analytical skills are essential for this role.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Manual QA Tester to join our Quality Assurance team. The Manual QA will be responsible for testing software applications manually to identify bugs and ensure the product functions as expected across various devices and platforms. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about quality assurance and software testing.

Key Responsibilities:

-Test Planning & Execution: Develop, document, and execute test cases based on product specifications, requirements, and user stories.

-Perform manual testing for web and mobile applications to ensure quality and performance.

-Execute different types of testing such as functional, regression, usability, exploratory, and smoke tests.

-Identify, log, and track defects found during testing and work closely with developers to facilitate their resolution.

Collaboration:

- Work closely with the development team to understand new features, identify testing requirements, and provide feedback on test cases.

- Communicate with product managers and other stakeholders to ensure proper test coverage.

- Participate in agile ceremonies like sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews.

Documentation & Reporting:

- Document test results and create clear and detailed bug reports.

- Maintain and update test documentation including test cases, checklists, and test execution logs.

- Report on test progress, issues, and results to the QA lead or project managers.

Quality Focus:

- Ensure adherence to software quality standards and company best practices.

- Proactively identify areas for improvement in testing processes and provide suggestions to improve product quality.

Cross-Platform Testing:

- Test applications across different browsers, devices, operating systems, and environments to ensure cross-platform compatibility.

- Assist in the creation and management of test environments.

Qualifications:

- Test Execution, Manual Testing, and Test Cases- Analytical Skills and Quality Assurance- Excellent problem-solving skills- Attention to detail and accuracy- Understanding of software development cycles- Certifications in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) is a plus- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with 0 to 1 Year of experience.
