We are seeking a highly motivated andindependent EntryLevel Python Programmer to join our team as aTrading Software Developer. In this role you will have theopportunity to work on the development of software applicationsthat facilitate both manual and automated trading activities infinancial markets including indices options and futures. Yourpassion for Python programming and ability to work with minimalsupervision will be key assets as you contribute to the developmentof trading solutions. Below will beresponsibilities
  • ProgramDevelopment: Write clean efficient and maintainable Python code todevelop trading applications andtools.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with the teamto understand trading requirements and translate them intofunctional software solutions.
  • AlgorithmicTrading: Design and development of algorithmic trading strategiesfor various asset classes including indices options andfutures.
  • Market Data Integration: Integrate andprocess market data feeds to provide realtime information fortrading decisions.
  • Data Visualization:Implement data analysis and visualization tools to aid traders indecisionmaking.
  • Testing and Debugging: Conductthorough testing and debugging of software applications to ensurereliability and accuracy.
  • Troubleshooting:Identify and resolve issues promptly to maintain systemuptime.
  • Documentation: Create and maintaincomprehensive documentation for software applications APIs andtrading strategies. Document code changes updates andconfigurations.
  • Independence: Workindependently with minimal supervision to research and implementnew trading technologies libraries andtechniques.
  • SelfLearning: Stay informed aboutindustry trends and best practices in trading softwaredevelopment.
Requirements
  • Education:Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering Financeor a related field (or equivalent practicalexperience).
  • Programming Skills: Proficiency inPython programming with a focus on software development.Familiarity with data structures andalgorithms.
  • Trading Knowledge: Basicunderstanding of financial markets trading concepts and assetclasses (e.g. indices optionsfutures).
  • SelfMotivation: Demonstrated abilityto work independently set priorities and manage timeeffectively.
  • ProblemSolving Skills: Stronganalytical and problemsolving abilities with an aptitude fordebugging code.
  • Communication: Effectivewritten and verbal communication skills. Ability to collaboratewith team members as well as workautonomously.
  • Learning Mindset: Strong desirefor continuous learning and the ability to quickly grasp and applynew concepts.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulousattention to detail to ensure code quality andaccuracy.
  • Personal Projects or Internships(Optional): Any relevant personal programming projects orinternships related to trading software development are aplus.
  • Financial Software Experience (Optional):Familiarity with financial software trading platforms or tradingAPIs isadvantageous.
