Summary:We are currently seeking an experienced (10 - 18 yrs) Director of Engineering to lead our Dev Ops Team. In this role, you will manage a team of Dev Ops Engineers, Senior Engineers, and Dev Ops Architects to meet our customers' Dev Ops requirements and deliver robust solutions. You will provide leadership and guidance to your team, fostering an environment of collaboration and innovation. You will also work closely with our customers, understanding their needs and ensuring they are met.Responsibilities:Lead and manage a high-performing Dev Ops team of engineers and architects to develop, deploy, and maintain scalable, automated systems.Act as a point of contact for our customers for Dev Ops-related inquiries and solutions.Understand and translate business objectives and user needs into clear, technical requirements for your team Develop and maintain a strategy for Dev Ops processes and ensure that best practices are followed Work collaboratively with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of projects Monitor system health and security, and ensure the proper tools and practices are in place to maintain high-quality performance Manage the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, and support of all Dev Ops related software and systems.Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for team members Prepare and manage budgets related to Dev Ops projects and operations.Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline; Master's degree preferred 1At least 8 years of experience in Dev Ops, software development, or system operations, with a minimum of 2 years in a management or leadership roleProven experience in leading and managing the delivery of system/software development projects in a structured environmentStrong experience with Dev Ops tools such as Docker, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Terraform, etc.Excellent knowledge of cloud services such as AWS, Azure, GCP Understanding of system and network architecture and the ability to implement, troubleshoot, and support complex systemsDemonstrated ability to mentor and develop team members, Strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to function well in a high-paced, sometimes stressful environmentExcellent customer service and relationship-building skills, Superior written and verbal communication skills
