Job Description: We are seeking a talented Banking Strategy Analyst with expertise in data visualization to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in banking strategy, coupled with advanced skills in creating dashboards and reports using visualization tools such as Excel VBA and MS Access. Additionally, familiarity with Tableau, Power BI, and Qlik Sense would be advantageous. This individual will play a critical role in transforming complex banking data into actionable insights to support strategic decision-making and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including banking strategy, finance, risk management, and business intelligence, to understand data requirements and strategic objectives.2. Design and develop dynamic dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Excel VBA and MS Access to analyze banking performance, identify trends, and track key performance indicators (KPIs).3. Automate data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes using Excel VBA and Access to streamline data integration from multiple sources and improve data accuracy.4. Leverage advanced Excel functionalities to perform complex data analysis, including pivot tables, macros, and advanced formulas, to derive actionable insights and recommendations.5. Enhance data visualization capabilities by exploring and implementing new tools and techniques, including Tableau, Power BI, and Qlik Sense, to create interactive and visually compelling dashboards.6. Collaborate with IT teams to optimize data architecture and infrastructure to support efficient data visualization and reporting processes.7. Provide training and support to internal stakeholders on data visualization best practices, tools, and techniques to enhance data literacy and empower informed decision-making.8. Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data visualization and analytics, and incorporate relevant insights into banking strategy initiatives.9. Partner with business leaders to translate insights from data analysis into actionable strategies and initiatives to drive business growth, optimize performance, and mitigate risks.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or related field. Advanced degree (e.g., MBA, MSc) preferred.2. 2-4 years of experience in banking strategy, business analytics, or related field, with a focus on data visualization and dashboard development.3. Proficiency in creating dynamic dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Excel VBA and MS Access, with demonstrated expertise in data manipulation and analysis.4. Strong understanding of banking products, services, and operations, with the ability to interpret and analyze banking data to derive actionable insights.5. Experience with Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik Sense is highly desirable, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new tools and technologies.6. Advanced proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, macros, lookup functions, and data modeling, with the ability to perform complex data analysis and automation.7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.8. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think analytically, identify trends, and recommend solutions to complex business challenges.9. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
