We are urgently seeking a Pharmacy Manager  for a private hospital in Westmeath Ireland.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Responsibility for managing stock supply, rotation, disposal, and minimizing wastage falls under this role.
  • Maintaining accurate records of all medications and intravenous fluids is essential.
  • Administration of medications and ensuring the safe, appropriate, and cost-effective use of medicines.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to provide and promote high-quality, cost-effective, patient-focused pharmaceutical care that prioritizes safety.
  • Promotion of safe drug usage
  • Responding to medication-related queries
  • Liaise with another fellow healthcare professional to ensure the delivery of safe

Requirements
  • Registered Pharmacist with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (PSI) or eligible for registration
  • Hospital experience is essential
  • Must have the necessary knowledge and skills to fulfill the responsibilities of a Pharmacist effectively.

  • Effective communication skills and a commitment to quality in all tasks and work practices, including accuracy and attention to detail, are essential qualities for the ideal candidate.
