Assistant Finance Manager

Our Finance, Legal & Business Intelligence function is spread across our global offices. In summary, they manage the company’s finances, implement risk management controls and work closely with the commercial function to gather insights into our sales and marketing pipeline.
The Assistant Finance Manager reports into the Group Financial Controller and is a critical role within our Finance team. The role is responsible for maintaining and analysing the accounts and developing financial statements and reports for our global offices across APAC and Europe.
Additionally, developing and maintaining the policies that govern the Company's reporting process and to ensure compliance with generally accepted reporting standards within the region.
Your key responsibilities as a Assistant Finance Manager will be:
Overseeing the day-to-day finance operations in NetSuite including OTC, PTP, GL of APAC and European subsidiariesPreparing monthly management accounts and ancillary reports being submitted as per the accounting timetableIndependently and proactively analysing financial information and developing solutions to complex problemsEnsuring that month-end billing, customer charging and credit control activities occur as plannedEnsuring compliance with local reporting standards and corporate policiesIndependently preparing financial statements as per local accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, AAS, GAAP) and manage statutory audit activities, liaison with external auditors to fulfil annual audits and to ensure filling complianceWorking independently to identify and execute projects and process improvements to enhance efficiencyWorking closely with key business partners in APAC and European regions
To join us as an Assistant Finance Manager you will need the following experience and skills:
CA or ACCA qualifications are highly preferredIn preparing financial statements, balance schedules and PNL variance analysisExecuting and overseeing accounting functions of all general ledger accounting activities, systems, and controlsEnsuring compliance with reporting standards and corporate policies and the integrity of external and internal reportingWorking closely with cross-functional teams and key business partners in APAC and Europe regionExpert level of working knowledge with MS office products such as ExcelIdeally experience with BI toolsExperience using Salesforce or a similar CRM system - highly advantageousExperience in using NetSuite or a similar ERP system - favourable
