Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Information Security

Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 3-6 years of experience in

information security, with a strong background in security management, documentation, audit

preparation, and technical knowledge. This role requires a proactive individual who can

ensure the security of our information systems and manage all aspects of our information

security program.


Key Responsibilities:

 Information Security Management: Oversee the development, implementation, and

maintenance of the organization’s information security program, policies, and

procedures.

 Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Conduct regular risk assessments to identify

vulnerabilities and implement appropriate security measures to mitigate risks.

 Incident Response: Lead the incident response team in identifying, addressing, and

mitigating security incidents.

 Audit Preparation and Compliance: Prepare for and facilitate internal and external

security audits, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory

requirements.

 Documentation: Develop, maintain, and update comprehensive documentation

related to security policies, procedures, and protocols.

 Technical Expertise: Provide technical guidance on security best practices, system

architecture, and the implementation of security technologies.

 Security Awareness Training: Develop and deliver security awareness training

programs to educate staff on security best practices and protocols.

 Collaboration: Work closely with IT, legal, and other departments to ensure cohesive

and comprehensive security measures across the organization.


Required Qualifications:

Must have 3 years of experience

 Experience: 3-6 years of experience in information security management, with a

proven track record in risk assessment, incident response, and audit preparation.

 Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science,

Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM,

CEH) are highly desirable.

 Technical Knowledge: Strong technical background with expertise in security

technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, antivirus

software, and encryption methods.


 Regulatory Compliance: In-depth knowledge of industry standards and regulatory

requirements (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, HIPAA).

 Documentation Skills: Proficient in creating and maintaining detailed and accurate

security documentation.

 Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to

think critically and make sound decisions under pressure.

 Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the

ability to convey complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

 Leadership: Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in managing and

mentoring security teams.

Preferred Qualifications: Good to have

 Certifications: CISSP, CISM, CEH, or other relevant security certifications.

 Experience: Previous experience in a similar role within the industry sector relevant
