OTM (Oracle Transport Management) Functional Consultant

We are seeking an experienced OTM Functional Consultant to lead and support Oracle Transportation Management implementations, configurations, enhancements, and production support. The role involves working directly with business stakeholders to design transportation processes, configure OTM modules, and participate in end-to-end solution delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesLead requirement gathering sessions with business users and translate them into detailed functional specifications.Configure and implement OTM modules including:Order ManagementShipment Planning & OptimizationRate ManagementCarrier ManagementFreight Settlement & BillingShipment ExecutionDefine and set up OTM master data, planning parameters, rate structures, agents, and workflows.Design transportation processes aligned with business needs and industry best practices.Support integration between OTM and ERP systems (Oracle EBS, Oracle ERP Cloud, SAP, WMS, 3PL systems).Coordinate with development and technical teams for integration, reporting, and customization requirements.Prepare Functional Design Documents (FDD), test cases, and training materials.Drive SIT, UAT cycles and support go-live & post-production activities.Provide ongoing functional support, troubleshooting, and process improvements for OTM users.Work closely with logistics, supply chain, and IT teams to optimize transportation operations.Job RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.Oracle OTM / SCM certification is a plus.3–10 years of hands-on functional experience in Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) – Cloud or On-Prem.Strong understanding of OTM functional areas:Transportation PlanningExecution & TrackingRate & Contract ManagementCarrier IntegrationFreight Payment & BillingExperience in configuring OTM entities:Agents & AutomationRate and tariff setupsPlanning constraints and parametersService providers, calendars & resourcesHands-on experience in transportation processes across modes (FTL, LTL, parcel, ocean, air).Ability to interpret and analyze transportation data using SQL (preferred).Strong documentation skills (BRD, FDD, SOP, test scripts).Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
