Job Summary : We are seeking a highly experienced Integration & Data Conversion Specialist with a strong background in PeopleSoft and Workday. The ideal candidate will possess 5 years of relevant experience, with a proven track record in managing and executing complex data migrations and integrations, particularly from PeopleSoft to Workday. You will play a crucial role in our ongoing Workday implementation, ensuring seamless data transfer and system integration. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with a strong understanding of ERP systems and data conversion methodologies. Responsibilities : Data Conversion and Migration : - Lead and execute data conversion activities from PeopleSoft to Workday, ensuring data integrity and accuracy. - Develop and implement data migration strategies and plans, including data cleansing, transformation, and validation. - Oversee at least one full end-to-end migration from PeopleSoft to Workday, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of the process. Integration Development : - Design and develop integrations between PeopleSoft and Workday, as well as other relevant systems. - Utilize Workday integration tools and technologies to build and maintain robust integrations. - Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, ensuring smooth data flow between systems. PeopleSoft Expertise : - Leverage strong hands-on experience in PeopleSoft to extract and transform data for migration. - Utilize PeopleSoft knowledge to understand data structures and relationships, facilitating accurate data mapping. - Work with PeopleSoft data to resolve data related issues. Workday Implementation Support : - Provide technical expertise and support during the Workday implementation process. - Collaborate with functional and technical teams to ensure successful system integration and data conversion. - Participate in testing and validation activities to ensure data accuracy and system functionality. SQL Proficiency : - Utilize advanced SQL skills to query, manipulate, and analyze data for conversion and integration purposes. - Develop and optimize SQL scripts for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes. Documentation and Reporting : - Create and maintain detailed documentation of data conversion and integration processes. - Provide regular status updates and reports to project stakeholders. - Document data mapping and data lineage. Requirements : - Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in integration and data conversion workstreams. - Strong hands-on experience in PeopleSoft. - Proven experience in Workday implementation. - Expertise in SQL, with the ability to write complex queries and scripts. - Solid understanding of data conversion methodologies and best practices. - Extensive ERP experience is a must. - Demonstrated experience in PeopleSoft to Workday migration. - Must have overseen at least one full end-to-end migration. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Preferred Skills : - Experience with Workday integration tools (e.g, Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Workday Studio). - Experience with other cloud based ERP systems. - Experience in data quality management. - Experience with data governance. Education : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience) (ref:hirist.tech)
