Key Responsibilities & Skill Required


Understanding the User and the Market

  • Leverage industry experience in the tech or creative industries, gained either through prior employment or personal projects.
  • Apply user or market research techniques, including identifying, interviewing, and surveying users or potential users to understand their needs and requirements.


Campaign and Communication Ideas

  • Develop creative ideas and campaigns to effectively communicate key product features and unique selling points (USPs).
  • Define objectives for creative campaigns and work collaboratively with the team to evaluate ideas, identify potential issues, and refine concepts to achieve the best results.
  • Test campaign ideas with the target audience and produce detailed creative production briefs.


Creative Project Management Skills

  • Source and hire freelance creatives such as designers, photographers, illustrators, videographers, and editors.
  • Discuss production briefs, obtain detailed and itemized quotes, and draft agreements.
  • Plan projects using Gantt charts, production schedules, and milestones, while ensuring effective feedback and timely project delivery.


In-House Content Production

  • Write engaging, original, and easy-to-read copy for various channels, including social media, websites, blogs, email campaigns, and help center articles.
  • Produce visual assets using photography skills, photographic lighting techniques, and tools like the Adobe Suite.
  • Create and edit videos using Adobe Suite or similar software.
  • Design graphics and layouts using tools such as Figma, Adobe Suite, and other relevant software.
  • Understand and define user journeys and functionality for solving user problems, create wireframes or briefs, and test and iterate on designs.
  • Implement SEO strategies, including keyword analysis, SERP optimization, and technical SEO

Setting Up, Managing, and Optimizing Digital Advertising

  • Set up and target campaigns on major advertising platforms like Google Ads, Facebook, and TikTok.
  • Measure costs, conversion rates, and optimize retargeting loops.
  • Allocate budgets effectively and prepare detailed performance reports.


Online Conversion Optimization

  • Oversee design iterations to enhance conversion-focused pages.
  • Conduct split testing across the site to identify areas for improvement.
  • Build and monitor funnels, improving key funnel metrics.
  • Conduct user research and feedback sessions to optimize user interfaces and online journeys.
  • Enhance help center content and onboarding processes, measuring their impact on user engagement.


Social Media Marketing

  • Create engaging and ambient posts on social media to build connections with the client base and promote services in a fun and relatable way.


This role is well-suited for individuals with experience in advertising, marketing, or design agencies, as well as those from startups or SMEs. You should be able to showcase your expertise through examples of work where you had primary or significant responsibility.
