We are seeking a dynamic and experienced lawyer with 3-4 years of experience in Corporate Law, Transactions and (preferably) Funds Practice in reputable law firm(s) to join our Legal Team.

Key Responsibilities:

Legal Advisory:

- Provide legal guidance and advice to various departments within the organization.- Analyze and interpret legal documents, contracts, and agreements.- Offer proactive legal support to internal stakeholders on a wide range of legal matters.

Contract Management:

- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and legal documents.- Ensure that all contractual agreements align with company policies and comply with relevant laws and regulations.

Compliance:

- Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations affecting the company.- Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures.- Conduct regular compliance audits and provide training to employees.

Risk Management:

- Identify and assess legal risks associated with business activities.- Devise strategies to mitigate legal risks and ensure the protection of the company's interests.

Liaison with External Parties:

- Interact with external law firms, regulatory authorities, and government agencies.- Undertake shareholder communications.

Policy Development:

- Assist in the development and implementation of company policies.- Ensure that policies are in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Training and Education:

- Provide legal training sessions to internal teams to enhance legal awareness.- Keep employees informed about legal developments affecting the business.

Candidate Requirements:

- 3-4 years of experience in corporate, transactions and (preferably) funds practice in a law firm- Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized institution- Strong knowledge of Indian laws and regulations- Excellent communication, negotiation, and drafting skills- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams- Proven experience in contract management, compliance, and risk assessment- Familiarity with corporate governance principles
