About Manastu Space


We are a Space Safety and Logistics Company dedicated to using technology to save the trillion-dollar space industry from debris pollution. We believe that the problems of Earth can be addressed through advancements in space. However, the rapid increase in the number of satellites also escalates the risk of collisions, resulting in debris pollution that endangers both satellites and astronauts.

To combat this, we are developing an Agile, Safe, Efficient, and Affordable Green Propulsion System with a new fuel, engine, and catalyst. This system aims to avoid satellite collisions and reduce debris pollution, presenting a potential green alternative to current monopropellant propulsion technology.



We are seeking a highly skilled Spacecraft Systems Design Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in aerospace design and engineering, focusing on:

  • Spacecraft assemblies
  • Small CubeSats
  • Electromechanical packages (e.g., solenoid valves and electronic housing)

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and Development:
  • Lead the design of spacecraft assemblies, focusing on:
  • Environmental Qualification Loads: Ensure designs meet required standards for vibration, shock, and other environmental loads.
  • Thermal Management: Design effective thermal management solutions for critical components.
  • Electrical and Fluidic Routings: Plan and optimize wire and feedline routings for functionality and efficiency.
  • Sensor and Actuator Placement: Strategically place sensors and actuators for optimal performance.
  • EMI/EMC Shielding: Implement electromagnetic interference and compatibility shielding in designs.
  • Design small CubeSats to meet mission-specific requirements and standards.
  • Develop electromechanical packages compliant with MIL standards.
  • Create detailed 3D models and engineering drawings using CAD software.
  • Perform structural, thermal, vibration, and shock load analysis to ensure design integrity.

Prototyping and Testing:

  • Oversee prototyping and testing of spacecraft assemblies, CubeSats, and electromechanical packages.
  • Develop test plans and procedures for component and system-level testing.
  • Analyze test data and iterate on designs for optimal performance and reliability.

Project Management:

  • Manage design projects from concept to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to specifications.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to source materials and components.
  • Maintain project documentation, including design files, test reports, and progress updates.

Standards and Compliance:

  • Ensure all designs comply with relevant standards for spacecraft, CubeSats, and electromechanical packages.
  • Stay up to date with the latest advancements and standards in spacecraft design and engineering.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in aerospace engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Approximately 2-5 years of experience in aerospace structural and thermal design and engineering.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA) and engineering analysis tools (e.g., ANSYS, NASTRAN, MATLAB).
  • Strong understanding of spacecraft materials, structures, thermal management, vibration, and shock loads.
  • Experience in designing, developing, and testing spacecraft assemblies, CubeSats, and electromechanical packages.
  • Knowledge of environmental qualification loads, thermal requirements, wire routings, sensor and actuator placements, and EMI/EMC shielding.
  • Familiarity with international design standards (e.g., ECSS, NASA-STD, MIL-STD, ISO 14620, ISO 19683, CubeSat Design Specification).
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
