Job Description: Job Title: Polarion ALM Expert – Process Implementation & Support Location: Remote Experience: 5+ years Role: Freelancing Company: Hexad Infosoft LLP., Role Summary: We are seeking an experienced Polarion ALM Expert to join our engineering services team for a large-scale R&D process digitalization project in the automotive domain. The role involves implementing, configuring, and optimizing Siemens Polarion ALM for engineering development processes — including requirements management, validation, release, and safety documentation. The expert will collaborate with global stakeholders to design workflows, define KPIs, integrate Polarion with other engineering tools, and enable user adoption through structured rollout and training programs. Key Responsibilities: Configure and tailor Siemens Polarion ALM across multiple engineering process areas: Requirements Management Validation & Release Management Safety & Product Documentation Usability & Tool Interfaces Define and implement end-to-end traceability between requirements, tests, and release documentation. Design workflows, templates, and dashboards aligned with organizational standards. Develop and deploy KPI-based monitoring and reporting using Polarion and Power BI. Integrate Polarion with Jira , PLM systems , and business reporting tools for data consistency. Create user documentation, conduct role-based training sessions, and support rollout activities. Provide process operation and continuous improvement support after implementation. Work closely with engineering teams, process owners, and system architects to align solutions. Required Skills & Expertise: Mandatory: Proven hands-on experience in Siemens Polarion ALM configuration and customization . Strong knowledge of workflow design, traceability setup, and role-based permissions . Experience with systems engineering and V-model / Agile development methodologies. Prior exposure to automotive or complex engineering environments . Experience integrating Polarion with Jira, Power BI, or PLM systems . Excellent communication, documentation, and analytical skills. Ability to work effectively with cross-functional international teams in different time zones. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in battery, electric vehicle, or mechatronic system development . Exposure to safety documentation and compliance workflows (e.g., ISO 26262). Experience in Polarion rollout, training delivery, and user enablement .
