Job summaryDigiCert is looking for a talented, motivated candidate to join our organization. The Assistant Manager will act as a central hub for the Tax team in India. What you will doAssist in preparation and review of the annual statutory and US GAAP tax provisionAssist in preparing regional income tax returnsAssist in preparing regional VAT/GST returns and account reconciliationsAssist in regional tax matters related to acquisitionsManage quarterly transfer pricing calculations for regional entitiesPrepare or review income tax account reconciliations on a quarterly basis for regional entitiesAssist with tax research, tax planning and other special tax projects, including modeling the impact of upcoming tax legislationIdentify and mitigate tax risk in assigned region What you will haveCandidate should have a Degree in Accounting or Taxation, and have a minimum of 4 years of progressive tax experienceFamiliarity with local rules related to statutory reporting for statutory accounts and tax returns (income and transactional)Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work cross-functionally to solve tax and non-tax issuesComfortable with local accounting principles and researching accounting information e.G. journal entries, AP and AR functions.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrate initiative and creativity, and have the flexibility to adjust to varied work assignmentsPrior experience should include research and resolution of domestic and international income tax issuesAbility to work with a primarily remote team BenefitsGenerous time off policiesTop shelf benefitsEducation, wellness and lifestyle support
