Job DescriptionEnsure that all policies, activities, and procedures are implemented as needed and required by the system for property development.

Managing and heading Legal and Company Secretarial Department that includes supervising and monitoring the work, progress and development of subordinates.

Ensure that the Group's interests are adequately protected and play an integral role in the Group's business decision-making process.

Review of all legal and company secretarial documents, highlighting to management any risks/exposures, possible breaches, and non-compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, and offering mitigation measures.

Ensure that all corporate exercises and transactions are completed on time.

Maintaining good relations and work closely with all levels of management and departments within the Group.

Liaison officer for all matters pertaining to litigation for the property division.

Maintain close contact with all external solicitors regarding all pending litigation matters.

Assist with all matters relating to recovery for related company or operations.

Taking on any other duties or responsibilities the company may assign.

Requirements

Minimum of Bachelor of Laws Degree and/or with other specialized legal qualifications.

At least 10 years experience in legal practice with corporate and commercial law, and litigation management.

Familiarity with company secretarial practices and procedures, including corporate governance requirements and compliance.

Ability to review legal documents, identify risks and exposures, and propose effective mitigation strategies.

Proven ability to manage and lead a legal and company secretarial team effectively.

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organizations.

Experience in handling litigation matters, including coordinating with external solicitors, managing litigation strategy, and overseeing dispute resolution processes.

High ethical standards and integrity, ensuring practices and regulations would be advantageous.
