Job Title : Data Architect (Snowflakes, BigQuery)

Job Description :

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Architect with extensive experience in managing data architecture across Snowflake and BigQuery platforms. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of designing, implementing, and optimizing data solutions that meet complex business requirements. As a key member of our data team, you will collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand data needs and translate them into scalable architecture.

Key Responsibilities :

Architecture Design : Design and develop scalable data architectures using Snowflake and BigQuery to support business needs and ensure optimal performance.

Data Modeling: Develop data models that align with business requirements and ensure data integrity, consistency, and and Optimization: Implement data solutions on Snowflake and BigQuery platforms, optimizing for performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency.

Data Integration: Lead efforts in data integration, ensuring seamless data flow between systems and platforms.

Performance Tuning: Monitor and optimize database performance, ensuring high availability and efficient query processing.

Data Governance: Establish and enforce data governance policies and best practices to maintain data quality and Work closely with cross-functional teams including data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective data Maintain comprehensive documentation of data architectures, processes, and solutions.

Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members, promoting best practices and continuous learning.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- 10+ years of experience in data architecture roles, with a strong focus on Snowflake and BigQuery.

- In-depth knowledge of data modeling, database design, and data warehousing concepts.

- Hands-on experience in designing and implementing large-scale data solutions.

- Proficiency in SQL and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).

- Experience with data integration tools and ETL processes.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data systems.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and stakeholders.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Certifications in Snowflake and BigQuery.

- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

- Familiarity with data security and privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
