Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role based in Varanasi with some tasks that can be completed remotely. As a Community Volunteer/Intern, you will be responsible for assisting in community outreach programs, organizing educational workshops, and raising health awareness. Daily tasks include engaging with the local community, coordinating with team members, documenting activities, and reporting on progress. You will also liaise with various stakeholders to enhance community partnerships and support the organization's missions.

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in community outreach and engagement
  • Ability to organize and manage events and workshops
  • Basic report writing and documentation skills
  • Flexibility to work both remotely and on-site
  • Passion for social work and commitment to community service
  • Proficiency in local languages is a plus
  • Previous experience in NGO or volunteer work is beneficial
