About your roleOur STA are experts in Test Automation. The role would focus on services, functional, data test automation. The key outcomes shall be (but not limited to) to create services and functional automation suite keeping DevOps principle of speed and quality in mind. Your role would be key to implementing modern engineering principles like Test Pyramid during the delivery lifecycle.About YouRelevant experience in writing test automated test scripts for API using tools like RestAssured/SOAP UI.Experience of using source code management tools, e.g. SVN/GitHubCandidate needs to have knowledge around engineering skills, CI / CD and build/ deployment automation tools.Familiar with TDD, Three Amigos and Specification by Example in an agile environmentExperience in implementing automated tests in Java using tools such as Gauge, Selenuim or playright.Good understanding of database concepts, such as data models, schemas, tables, queries, views, stored procedures, triggers, indexes, constraints, and transactions and SQL.Understanding on build pipelines is also nice to have.Knowing development methodologies such as Scrum, Agile, and Kanban.Familiarity with cloud concepts as well as Agentic AI is also nice to have.Familiarity with AI tools like GitHub Copilot is also recommended.Exp: 4-8 Yrs.
