Cloud Engineers – fully remote freelance role

We are hiring Cloud Engineers to work on active client projects across global enterprises, SaaS companies, and cloud-first organizations. These are fully remote, long-term contract / freelance roles , ideal for engineers who can design, build, and operate scalable cloud infrastructure in production environments. You will work directly with international client teams , supporting real-world cloud transformation, modernization, and platform engineering initiatives. Open Roles (Multiple Positions)We are recruiting across core and specialized cloud engineering roles : Core Cloud EngineeringCloud Engineer Senior Cloud Engineer Cloud Infrastructure Engineer Cloud Platform Engineer Specialized RolesAWS Cloud Engineer Azure Cloud Engineer GCP Cloud Engineer DevOps / Cloud Engineer Cloud Automation Engineer Site Reliability Engineer (SRE – Cloud Focused) Engagement DetailsType: Independent Freelance Consultant / Contract Location: 100% Remote Duration: Initial 6–12 month contract (strong extension potential, including multi-year) Start Date: Immediate or within the next few weeks Clients: Global enterprises, SaaS companies, system integrators, and cloud-native teams Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure. Implement cloud environments using AWS, Azure, or GCP best practices. Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM, Bicep). Build and manage CI/CD pipelines supporting application and infrastructure deployments. Support containerized workloads using Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes. Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability solutions. Ensure cloud security, identity, access control, and compliance requirements are met. Optimize cloud performance, reliability, and cost for production environments. Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and support incident response and root cause analysis. Collaborate with application, data, and security teams on end-to-end delivery. Minimum QualificationsMinimum 3 years of hands-on experience in cloud engineering or infrastructure roles. Strong experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools. Experience with Linux systems , networking, and cloud security fundamentals. Familiarity with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, etc.). Ability to work independently in a remote, distributed project setup . Strong communication skills for working with global client teams. Preferred SkillsExperience with Kubernetes (EKS / AKS / GKE) and container platforms. Exposure to SRE practices , reliability engineering, and SLAs. Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, Azure Monitor). Familiarity with cloud networking (VPC, VPN, Load Balancers, Private Endpoints). Experience with security best practices and compliance-driven environments. Cloud certifications (AWS / Azure / GCP) are a strong plus.
