Position: Executive Assistant – PV Sindhu / Team PVS

Location: Hyderabad, India, and Bangalore, India 

Reports To: PV Sindhu

 

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Executive Assistant to support PV Sindhu in managing her day-to-day operations, strategic initiatives, and overall commitments. This role requires close coordination with her management agency, Cornerstone, and various other stakeholders to handle sponsorships, endorsements, and media relations.

 

The ideal candidate will ensure seamless communication with her coaching staff, oversee all aspects of her professional and personal responsibilities, and act as a liaison to governing bodies and federations. You will manage communications, ensure compliance with relevant regulations, and provide administrative support while maintaining the highest level of discretion, allowing Sindhu to focus entirely on her badminton career.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Calendar Management:

  • Manage Sindhu’s schedule, including training, tournaments, and media engagements.
  • Anticipate scheduling conflicts and proactively resolve them.

 

Communication & Coordination:

  • Handle communications, draft correspondence, and manage relationships with sponsors, media, and other stakeholders.
  • Liaise closely with Sindhu’s team, including coaches, physiotherapists, personal staff, and family members.
  • Ensure timely and accurate communication between all involved parties.

 

Project & Event Management:

  • Organise events, including press conferences, sponsor activations, and special appearances. This includes the chance to lead certain special projects.
  • Lead special projects, ensuring they are executed efficiently and align with Sindhu's brand and goals.
  • Support strategic planning efforts related to brand management and sponsorships.

 

Administrative Support:

  • Maintain comprehensive records of Sindhu’s commitments and documentation.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and briefing materials for meetings.
  • Assist with contract management and other administrative duties as needed.

 

Media Recording & Photography:

  • Be proficient in media recording and photography, acting as a traveling photographer and videographer.
  • Capture high-quality photos and videos during training sessions, tournaments, events, and other engagements.
  • Ensure that all visual content aligns with Sindhu's brand image and is suitable for media releases, social media, and promotional use.

 

Confidentiality & Discretion:

  • Handle sensitive information with the utmost discretion.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements in all aspects of Sindhu’s career.


Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sports Management, or a related field.

5+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably with high-profile individuals.

 

Skills:

Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking abilities.

Proactive, adaptable, and able to work under pressure with high discretion.

Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
