This is a full-time, on-site role at our office in Gurugram, India.
Role Overview:
We are seeking a talented and creative Web Designer who can design visually appealing, user-friendly, and responsive websites. You will be responsible for creating and executing web design projects for both the company and our clients, focusing on platforms like Upwork, Fiverr, and other freelance platforms. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled designer to contribute to a variety of client projects while collaborating with a dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and bid for relevant web design projects on Upwork, Fiverr, and other freelance platforms.
Create visually stunning website designs that are responsive, user-friendly, and aligned with client branding and business objectives.
Collaborate with developers to ensure designs are implemented correctly and effectively on websites.
Work with the content and marketing teams to integrate content, images, and other media into web designs.
Conduct user research and apply findings to improve the overall user experience (UX) and usability of websites.
Stay updated with current design trends, tools, and technologies, applying best practices in web design and user experience.
Optimize web designs for speed, performance, and mobile responsiveness.
Provide clients with regular updates on project progress and manage feedback to ensure design alignment with client expectations.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and repeat business.
Key Requirements:
Proven experience as a Web Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your web design work, particularly on freelance platforms like Upwork, Fiverr, or similar.
Proficiency in web design tools such as Adobe XD, Figma, Sketch, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and web design best practices.
Experience in designing responsive websites and creating mobile-friendly designs.
Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) like WordPress, Shopify, or similar platforms.
Ability to create visually appealing and user-centric designs with a focus on user experience (UX).
Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients and internal teams.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality designs that meet client needs.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with front-end web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
Knowledge of UI/UX design principles and user-centered design practices.
Experience working with website builders and frameworks such as WordPress, Elementor, or Bootstrap.
Knowledge of SEO and digital marketing strategies to incorporate into web design.
Basic understanding of website performance optimization techniques (e.g., image compression, lazy loading).
